Week 3 - What if we lived underwater?

What if everyone lived under water? Where would people live? What games would children play? What would school be like?

Remember that you can do either one large blog or several small ones.

Week 2 - Paradox

George Carlin once penned the following entitled - "The Paradox of our Time". After reading it, pen your own Paradox for your journal.

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints.

We spend more, but have less. We buy more, but enjoy less.

We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time.

We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often. We've learned how to make a living, but not a life.

We've added years to life not life to years.

Week 1 Spirals

This week we'll discuss spirals in class a bit to get you into this new way of noticing details. Each week there will be a different exercise such as this one.

You'll take a look at some pictures or a website or even the world around you, and then you'll work in a group in a location in Warsaw of your choice to find a list of spirals.  Consider locations such as a coffeehouse, Burger King, or a local bar to search.

Afterward one person from the group will post the group's observations for the class to consider.

For spirals, look at the Wiki article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spiral
